The New Outlook Society has been operating happily at Paignton (Palace Avenue) Methodist Church for the past 20 years. It was formed as part of the Third Age Project conceived by Lord Young of Dartington to bring together the early retired and senior citizens in sharing mutual interests and activities.
Thursday mornings at 10.00 we meet for coffee and listen to various talks by invited Speakers and or Film and slide shows covering various subjects and entertainment.
We have in the past also held activities during the week including Skittles on a Monday morning. Art Class which was very successful for many years and a Keep Fit Music and Movement Class. Other interests were pursued as and when Members requested and prepared to attend on a regular basis.
Our Membership has always been over subscribed until this past year when sadly due to age and illness we have lost several of our oldest members. We are now able to welcome new members especially those from Paignton (Palace Avenue) Methodist Church who would like to come along and join us on a Monday and Thursday morning and assure new members of a happy and interesting time.

Monday morning is very light hearted, not too serious or strenuous game of Skittles, which is enjoyed by all. Play begins about 10.00 with a break at 10.45 for Coffee and Biscuits finishing before 12.00. The morning is intended to be a happy community Get-Together with plenty of good humour and chitchat. You are welcome to come and join us.
