FACTORY ROW
Since moving into
their temporary hostel in Newton Road, Torquay,
the staff and residents of Factory Row have
enjoyed a high rate of success in
getting a good number of the homeless into flats of
their own. However, these places are most
often unfurnished. Consequently, they are frequently in need of small
furnishings such as single beds, bedding (including pillows and duvets), chairs,
settees, tables, single wardrobes, curtains, towels, crockery, cutlery, pots and
pans, cooking utensils, vacuum cleaners, TVs, chests of drawers, cleaning
materials, etc. And for the hostel, mugs and breakfast sized plates. Offers of
help with a van are always welcome.
If anyone feels able to help, you
can contact me on 01803 554868 for larger items or for things you are uncertain
about please contact Leyla or Bob at Factory Row on 01803 212234.
Many thanks for your continued support with
donations of non-perishable items of food and toiletries.
Vivien Westmoreland
On behalf of Factory Row.
