Each month a card and envelope are delivered to all the residences and commercial properties in one of the roads near to our church. The aim is to let those who live and work near to the church that we are thinking about them and praying for them. Our Weekly Notices will give the name of the road each month. The words on the card reads as follows: Palace Avenue Methodist Church As part of our commitment and concern for the people of Paignton we would like to include the community of (name of road) in prayer on Sundays, and mid-week prayer meetings, during (month). If you have a particular need or person you would like included in our prayers during that time, either publicly or privately, please leave a written request at the Church, using the envelope provided. The church is open Monday—Wednesday from 10.00 to 12.00 or the envelope can be posted through the letter box, located in the blue door at the end of the path between the church and Red Cross shop in Palace Avenue. We would be delighted to welcome you to worship with us on Sundays at 10.30, or at 09.00 on the first and third Sundays in the month, or 18.30 on the second and fourth Sundays. Throughout the year people living and working in shops nearby will be remembered in our prayers. The Power of Prayer!
