THOUGHT For the Month

When we speak God hears us, when we pray God listens.
Our prayers are always answered but not always in the way we expect.

Prayer Request FormWe are a caring, sharing church family and we invite you to share your thoughts and concerns with us by making a Prayer Request.

"God understands every human language. Remaining close to him in silence is already prayer: your lips remain closed but your heart is speaking to him. And, by the Holy Spirit, Christ prays in you more than you can imagine."
Brother Roger of Taizé

Thought for the Month

As we approach the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, may we open our eyes and hearts to the good in our own lives.

Let us be thankful for the blessings which you have given us, the people, the experiences and most of all for you.

Allow us to focus and see past the difficult or troubled times we may experience, knowing that with your guidance they will pass.

Help us to praise you, even when we find it difficult or when times are tough.  Help us to proclaim that: “if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV.

Our church is open for prayer and meditation each Monday and Tuesday mornings from 10.00 to 12.00. Whether you wish to pray or just sit in the peace and quiet, you are most welcome. Alternatively, see below to leave a message if you would like us to pray for you or a particular situation.

"Prayer is a serene force at work within human beings, stirring them up, transforming them, never allowing them to close their eyes in the face of evil, of wars, of all that threatens the weak of this world. From it we draw energy to wage other struggles - to enable our loved ones to survive, to transform the human condition, to make the earth a fit place to live in."
Brother Roger of Taizé
