Paignton (Palace Avenue) Methodist Church - Room Hire/Letting Paignton (Palace Avenue) Methodist Church has a number of rooms which are available for hire at competitive rates when they are not in use for church activities. They are suitable for one-off events such as meetings, concerts, dinners or parties or for regular use. The available spaces include:
Church Foyer, Church Hall and 'Room One' are on the ground floor - 'Room Two' and 'Room Three' are upstairs on the first floor. Hirers of the Church Foyer should note that NO tables or chairs are to be put on the area at the top of the steps outside the front entrance of the church at any time. Any tables/stalls etc must be put on the flat area to the side at ground level (in front of the window). All tables etc are to be kept within the confines of the church boundary (i.e. no table legs over the wall and on the pavement). Chairs, tables and cooking facilities with tableware may be available. Please enquire. Parking is not available on the premises but there is a local authority Car Park close by together with on-street parking around the gardens at the front of the church building. The Church Foyer is accessible for wheelchairs via a ramp from street level. Likewise access to the Church Hall, the Kitchen area and ‘Room One’ is via a ramp from street level, at the rear of the church premises. One toilet at the rear of the church premises is adapted for use by wheelchair users, and has baby changing facilities.
No
alcoholic drinks may be consumed or brought on/into the church premises. Hirers are requested to make a thorough check of
the premises before leaving to ensure that - Hirers are asked to take note of all fire exits and ensure that these remain clear of obstruction and available for immediate access at all times. Paignton (Palace Avenue) Methodist Church reserves the right to only accept bookings from organisations and individuals whose views are sympathetic to its Christian ethos and values.
