Small Groups

A wide variety of small groups meet to serve the needs of the individuals.

Disciple 1, Disciple 2 and Disciple 3 have proved popular regardless of the volume of work and commitment entailed.

Most of the house groups meet fortnightly, at times and in places to suit the members. Programmes covering Bible subjects may be used, or studies relevant to modern living. Prayer and nurturing form important elements of the group fellowship. Reports also refer to the value of laughter too, and the quality of the coffee, biscuits or luscious home made cakes which act as icebreakers to the meeting.

Exploring Prayer was also introduced. It has been much appreciated by the participants. Their progress in this subject has been used to good purpose in some forms of worship.

In addition to the Small Groups mentioned above we also have an Alpha Course, a Disciple Course and a Prayer Ministry team. 

Southfield Methodist Church have a Bible study group which meets fortnightly.
